Most of what I do is driven by curiosity, to understand things, and sometimes that understanding turns into a new idea or a new way of looking at things, if the stars align. Sometimes it becomes a tool I build or a new process. It's fun. I spent my twenties in solid state and materials physics, my thirties growing silicon crystals, then gallium nitride, for semiconductors, leading teams along the way.
I've been designing and building tools since high school. For the last five years, I've done it professionally, building enterprise engineering and analytics tools. Now in wealth management, where markets and data meet.
Based in the Portland metro area. Currently heading product at AssetLink.
